All this praying, counting,
Hoping, waiting:

Tick tock.
Tick tock.

Another glance and a half spin ’round.

Tick tock.
Tick tock.

Of patience and courage
And fears squelched from disruptive thoughts.
How much longer, Lord?

Tick tock.
Tick tock.
